One morning at about 8 o'clock, the author saw Rahmun, the Cabuliwallah, being led away by the police. There were blood-stains on his clothes. The anthor came to know from the police that a certain neighbour had owed the Cabuliwallah something for a Rampuri Shawl. The neighbour had denied having bought it. It led a quar- rel between the person and the Cabuliwallah and at last the pedar had struck him.
